22-year-old JKUAT student allegedly killed by friends after a disagreement

A student by the name of Malvin Eshitera was found lying lifeless in his hostel room yesterday 30 November and word has it that his friends might have killed him.

The young man who was pursuing a Bachelor in Information Technology at the main campus in Juja suffered severe bleeding after he was badly beaten by some friends over a ‘girl’ issue.

According to the hostel guard, Malvin was alive when his friends came over but after they left no one knows what happened.

The big brother, Benson Eshitera, speaking to Nation has revealed that his late brother had however been receiving harsh texts from his ex-girlfriend after their bitter breakup.

His phone had text messages from an ex-girlfriend over a bitter break up but there were no threat messages. He said.

But since the messages posted no threats the young girl gets to walk away. The postmortem results show that the young man died after the severe bleeding.

More information shared by Benson Eshitera reveal that the police arrested one of the suspects and even found a blood stained shirt in his room, however the police have refused to confirm this.

Nairobiwire says that the police have come with a new version of the story that says the late Malvin was a thief. The Kiambu commander James Mugera says the young man was beaten after he stole a TV.

However, the boys believed to have been involved are currently in custody as the police carries out their investigation.
