Ali, who for years run the popular investigative series Jicho Pevu, took to his Twitter account where he hinted he was working on an expose on the police killings against protesters.
"Jicho Pevu Loading......The killings must stop come what may. No more Killing Kenya!" the newly elected legislator stated.
However, most of the users who reacted to the hint appeared angered, accusing the Nyali MP of hypocricy.
Most of the comments touched on Ali’s latest political moves, including an appearance at a Jubilee campaign rally which President Uhuru Kenyatta presided over at Kongowea Market in Nyali.
While the move was interpreted as an act of defiance against NASA which the MP had previously associated with, Ali defended his presence at the rally, indicating that he was willing to work with the government for the benefit of the Nyali residents.
The former journalist also missed Sunday’s NASA rally that was held at Mama Ngina grounds in Mombasa.
