An Open Letter to Miguna Miguna
Listen sir!

Before I took any keen interest in you and started listening to your opinions, a friend of mine hailed praises on you and even forwarded your book, Peeling Back the Mask, for me to read.
And you know what? I actually read your book.
I picked up a lot of things about you including the fact that you are an intellectual, who stands firm in his beliefs.
But recently your outrageous ranting on television and Twitter have proved otherwise.
I used to be very excited when you appeared on Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) and hold a candid conversation with the host, but not anymore.
While in the newsroom, I cringe whenever someone says that Miguna has tweeted or will be on a TV interview.
Your attacks and name callings are tiring. Talk issues Miguna.
You have become so petty that your intelligence cannot be seen anymore.
Stop replying to every Tom, Dick and Harry on Twitter. You are simply lowering your standards by doing so.
The authority you had while addressing imminent issues in this great country cannot be trusted anymore or rather consumed.
You attacked Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and his predecessor Evans Kidero until it became just another thing that Miguna says. It no longer means anything.
Probably you will read this and quickly tweet that the proficiency of English does not match to tell the Canadian-based Barrister and Solicitor anything.
But you know what, that is exactly what I am talking about. You have become predictable and petty.
Stop replying to non-sense, talk issues.
If not for your ranting, I would have marked Miguna for Nairobi Governor on my ballot paper.
However, I asked myself if I would be proud to tell my kids that I voted for you and the answer was a resounding No. So I voted for someone who I thought was a good leader.
Bring back the Miguna who used to be an authority and opinion shaper.
Go ahead prove me wrong by posting a responsible tweet.
