K’Ogalo have replaced Ze Maria with an English coach.
The former under-18 academy coach at Chesterfield and Simba SC boss has been confirmed by the club to replace Brazilian Ze Maria, who resigned from the post to join Albanian side FK Tirana in mid-June.
He now takes over from Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno, who has been in charge of the team on interim basis following Ze Maria's exit.
“After a competitive process of identifying a new coach, Gor Mahia FC has settled on Dylan Kerr to take over as the head coach after the exit of the Brazilian, Zemaria.
“Our new coach is expected in the country anytime between Friday and Saturday. Welcome to Gor Mahia FC Kerr,” a statement on the club’s official facebook page read.
Apart from Simba SC, the 50-year old tactician has also previously coached Vietnamese football club Hải Phòng. During his heydays, he played for among other teams, Sheffield Wednesday and Reading.
