The deal is worthy 75 Million per year

Harambee Starlet new kits

This is after signing a deal worthy 75 Million per year that will see the company supply 600 pieces to each National. The deal will see the Football Kenya Federation get paid for the national teams to use the products from the Ghanaian based Company.

Speaking during the launching event, FKF president Nick Mwenda noted that  the deal will help the federation save the amount of money they would have spent on buying kits and the cash can be now be used on other development projects.

"Thank you Mafro Sport for taking the step to come to us. They are sponsoring Zimbabwe and Zambia and difference is that we will be paid for wearing kits. We spent eight million buying kits last year now we will not buy. So the money can be used for the development of the game. We will get 600 pieces for every category  of uniform plus the tracksuits and socks."said Mwendwa

Mafro Sports Managing Director Mahmoud Gondha said the Kenyan team suited their plan and it was a good platform to grow their product in Kenya.

“Mafro was designed to suit the thirst of the African nation and we at Mafro felt we could give a taste that suited them. We have been in negotiations with FKF for some time now and we are happy that the Kenyan federation agreed the deal.” said Mahmoud
