Assistant coach George Owoko has told P Live that the forward is no longer their player and that they will have to face the situation keeping in mind that the Ugandan was a pillar at the Paul Nkata coached outfit.
“Yes, Sserunkuma (Dan) has left us. We are not happy about it but we will have to adjust accordingly. Such moves happen during transfer periods.”
Sserenkuma stirred for Gor Mahia in 2012 and 2013 before joining Bandari at the start of 2016. He has also had stints with Tanzania’s Simba SC and Armenian side Ulisses.
His exit becomes the second from the Dockers after Musa Mudde, who joined AFC Leopards last week. The club has however signed former Gor Mahia striker Biron Oketch.
Tanzanian striker Lewis Cosmas has reportedly filled the void left by Sserunkuma, whose next move is yet to be known.
