Top KCB skipper Curtis Lilako has been recalled back to the squad to help strengthen the team before landing in Uganda.

According to Kenya 15s Team Manager Wangila Simiyu the player’s impressive performance in their 2016/2017 season was enough to earn him a return to the squad.

“Hard work and determination at club level is the main reason behind the recalling of Kenya Cup and Enterprise winning captain Curtis Lilako to the National team”said Simiyu

The KCB forward had initially been omitted in the final squad for upcoming international duty and missed the South Africa trip plus the first international test against Germany.

Jerome Paarwater is expected to name the final squad that will face Uganda cranes on Wednesday 7.

The Simbas will be hoping to use the fixture to bounce back after a heartbreaking 30-29 loss at home to Germany in their first test match a week ago.

Jerome Paarwater’s boys will be banking on their superior head to head record against their Ugandan counterparts to win the contest. Having played a total of 25 matches, the Simbas have managed to claim 17 wins and lost on only 8 occasions.
