Apart from playing for AFC Leopards, Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars during his heydays, the midfielder has some interesting history to know.

1. He studied at St John’s Kaloleni Primary School, Nairobi.

2. While at school, he concentrated much on football than education and could sneak out of class to play the game at the school’s famous ‘Mexico City’ ground.

4. He was nicknamed ‘Gazza’ while at Primary school for his great football skills.

5. He is closely related to Harambee Stars captain and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama’s family.

6. He has coached National Super League side Administration Police FC, Muhoroni Youth and now AFC Leopards.
