Musician Jaguar taken to Court

It is going to be a long ride for Jaguar

This is after his rival Steve Mbogo announced that he will be moving to court to challenge the musician’s victory.

Mbogo, who is affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, divulged that he will file a petition on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

The self-proclaimed billionaire stated that the elections were not properly conducted according to the law.

He previously claimed that the elections were rigged to favor Jaguar.

“We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself. Filing my petition today at 9 am. Starehe constituents have spoken. Justice must prevail,” Mbogo said.

During the just concluded General Election Jaguar garnered 52,132 votes while Mbogo came in second in the race with 32,357 votes.

The move comes after numerous petitions were filed at the court challenging the win of various leaders.

Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti has also challenged the win of sitting Governor Alfred Mutua.
