The National Super Alliance (NASA) has trounced the Jubilee Party hands down in a recently released poll by Trends & Insights For Africa (TIFA) on Thursday.

According to the research NASA has the support of 12 constituencies in Nairobi ahead of Jubilee’s four stongholds.

In the dozen constituencies NASA has over 50 percent votes. The areas include -  Embakasi South (69%), Dagoretti North (68%), Embakasi Central (68%), Kamukunji (68%), Makadara (65%), Embakasi West (65%), Embakasi North (62%), Lang’ata (61%), Kibra (60%), Ruaraka (60%), Emabakasi East (555) and Westlands (53%)

At the same time Jubilee has immense support in Starehe (51%), Dagoretti South (64%), Kasarani (66%) and Roysambu (71%)

Mathare will be a battle ground for the two parties with Jubilee standing at4 0% while NASA 49 % support.

The poll further showed that if elections were to be held today Mr Odinga will be elected with 55% Nairobians while Kenyatta will only be elected by 39% of the population.

In the Nairobi Gubernatorial race incumbent Governor Evans Kidero and Senator Mike Sonko are neck to neck with 44 % support.

At the same time in the Nairobi Women Representative seat Esther Passaris has 50% support while her main contender Rachel Shebesh comes in second with 31% support.
