Raila is afraid - DP Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has disclosed that NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga is scared after he discovered..

Speaking in Vihiga County on Thursday, Ruto alleged that NASA was using all means to boycott the October 17 election because they knew they would not win. The DP questioned why Odinga's team was threatening to forego the election if they claimed to have popular support."Kenyans should be allowed to make their own decisions on the leaders they want. After all, it’s God who decides on leaders through elections,” he said.

Ruto exuded confidence that President Uhuru Kenyatta would trounce the former prime minister with an even bigger margin.Meanwhile, the NASA brigade has announced that there will be no election on October 17 if their demands are not met by IEBC.On Thursday, the Opposition said they would no longer be holding casual meetings with IEBC."NASA does not intend to hold any casual meetings with the IEBC as currently constituted or under the ad hoc smokescreen in which it operates currently. "We will only engage the commission through an open-structured national stakeholder dialogue in which binding resolutions will be made and shared with the public. No more boardroom meetings with IEBC," NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi said.

On the other hand, IEBC has maintained that Election will be held on the scheduled date and will hold a meeting with both NASA and Jubilee next week.
