President Uhuru meets Raila for the first time after peace deal

This is the first time they are meeting after they agreed to work together

President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga met for the first time after the signing of the peace pact that saw the two leaders pledge to work together to unite Kenya.

The two leaders who spent Sunday afternoon together were joined by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Senator Johnson Sakaja and some members of president Uhuru’s Cabinet and politics was not part of the agenda, this time round.

The two leaders spent the Sunday afternoon together at the Muthaiga Golf club on the final day of the Barclays Kenya Open 2018.

“It was nice watching the 2018 Barclays Kenya Open but I think I'll stick to watching the Mighty Gor Mahia #KenyaOpenAt50,” Said Raila Odinga in a tweet.
