Female CS holds critical meeting after Uhuru failed to nominate her

She has been credited as one of the most performing CSs

On Monday morning, Kariuki hosted a critical meeting which she stated focused on supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s “big four agenda”.

“Morning briefing with my team on the delivery of government's renewed Agenda around the big four,” the CS stated.

President Kenyatta stated that his legacy term would focus on the "big four" agenda which comprises of food security, affordable housing, job creation, and healthcare.

The head of state allowed all CSs to take a two-week break from December 22, and were expected to resume last week on Monday.

However, there were widely circulated reports showing that most of the Cabinet members had declined to go back to work last week, as they awaited to know their fate.

On Friday, the head of state announced part of his cabinet, retaining six of them and introducing three new nominee.
