In his outspoken nature, Gachoka's appearance was not devoid of drama and self-praise.

When asked why Kenya's political class was dominated by prominent families that appeared to form dynasties, Gachoka responded by referring to his own privileged background.

"I am the son of Gachoka and my father was an achiever. In fact when I left the maternity ward, I was picked up by a mercedes. How can I be ashamed because my father had a Mercedes?" Gachoka bragged.

He is the son of the late Phillip Gachoka who previously served as Juja MP.

Another light moment came when the political analyst made fun of, his host, Jeff Koinange's tribulations during their last show.

Their last show was recorded in 2015 and led to their arrest over claims of defamation made by businessman Jimi Wanjigi.

"Jeff, we were with you in court and you were afraid of jail because of your curly kit....But Jeff you have a lot of money, your Sh2 million bond came in a motorbike, I have never seen so much money come so fast!" he stated as his host joined him in laughter.
