It is emerging that key movement principals Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula stayed put at home the entire yesterday failing to participate in the highly protracted elections.
"Clearly, there is a low voter turnout, even in their strongholds, and this is compounded by the fact that it now vindicates everybody that the IEBC was being forced into an election,” Mr Musalia Mudavadi told journalists on Thursday.

ODM leader Raila Odinga and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi allegedly spent their day I Nairobi monitoring how the Thursday voting unfolded through the local media.
Suna East lawmaker Mr Junet Mohammed, who was pictured with Raila and the photo shared widely on social media the better part of Thursday, revealed that Mr Odinga was at home reading.
“In the morning baba was reading and the afternoon he was following the activities of the day,” Mr Junet said.
He mockingly added: “He did what he asked NASA supporters to do—to stay home.”
On his part, Mr Mudavadi argued that the will of the people had failed to be achieved through the ballot as the voter turnout was worrying.

“The legitimacy of this process is completely out of the line,” Mr Mudavadi said.
Reports indicate that Bungoma Senator and Ford Kenya leader Mr Moses Wetangula spent all the Thursday at home with his ageing parents.
“I thank the media for showing the world what transpired on this day, that Kenyans refused to take part in a sham election where the winner is predetermined by a computer,” he said.
He added: “I can tell you confidently in Bungoma, Vihiga, Busia, Kakamega and any other county here that the turnout could not exceed five per cent.”
While in German, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who is rumored of having a plan to join Jubilee, was allegedly following the developments through the media.

After the annulment of Uhuru Kenyatta’s win on September 1, Mr Odinga and three other Nasa principals embarked on a campaign to have the IEBC cleaned up before conducting any other election.
The Opposition was pushing for the resignation of IEBC CEO Mr Ezra Chiloba – who bowed out three days to elections – change of printer for ballot papers and other raft of measure.
The opposition demanded electoral reforms before a new election was conducted, but Jubilee and the IEBC remained adamant. This forced NASA to pull out, saying it would not take part in the election and endorse a flawed process.
