Chief Justice David Maraga has been forced to respond after a letter he purportedly authored warned judges against being involved in NASAs planned swearing in ceremony.

Maraga stated that the letter being spread on social media purporting to warn judges & magistrates from participating in the controversial swearing-in is fake.

He added that the judiciary is an independent body that does not comment on political matters.
