Controversial Tanzanian Prophet Nabii Tito who runs a church dubbed “Drunkards Church” has been arrested for blackmailing his followers using the Bible.

According to the Magufuli’s government, the self-proclaimed prophet has been sharing videos on social media encouraging his folks to drink alcohol and sleep with their house helps.

The prophet who usually preach while drinking alcohol,  have no specific location for his church, as he moves around in bars and streets preaching the word to fellow drunkards at a fee.

Dodoma Regional Commissioner Gilles Muroto said that he would issue a statement when the interrogation of the ‘prophet’ is completed. He added that the ‘prophet’ was once examined by a psychiatrist and found to be insane.

 Confirming the arrest, IGP Simon Sirro said Tito had been arrested following public complaints and will be dealt with accordingly.

At one time the fake prophet took to social media to confess his love for actress Wema Sepetu in front of his wife.
