The Black Stars will kick-off their AFCON campaign on Tuesday, June 25 with an evening fixture against the Squirrels of Benin.
The team had a three-week camp in Dubai and are currently based in Ismaila for their group games.
Speaking ahead of the Black Stars’ opening game, Appiah said Ghana will not underrate Benin come Tuesday.
The 58-year-old further expressed confidence in his charges to deliver all three points against the Squirrels.

“Modern football has changed and there is no way you can underrate any team and every team is pushing,” Appiah said.
“But I believe in my players, I have full confidence in them and I know they will deliver.
“All the teams in our group are strong but the most important thing is preparing well to face them and that’s what we have done.”
The continental showpiece kicked off on Friday, with hosts Egypt recording to 1-0 victory over Zimbabwe in the opening game.

Ghana’s Black Stars are aiming to end a 37-year trophy-less run, which stretches back to 1982.
