Attraction is often communicated through non-verbal cues, with body language revealing more than words ever could. If you’re trying to determine whether a woman is interested in you, observing her body language can give you valuable insights.

So you already had your periods and they are back after a few days later? Well, it could be that you forgot to take your birth control pills. Birth control is all about hormones. And when you forget to take them, your hormones are affected in a great way. The effects on hormones may lead to bleeding because some hormones (birth control) have been withdrawn from your system.

2. Your thyroid has malfunctioned

Your thyroid gland is regulated by hormones. When it’s not functioning properly, your hormones may go whacky thus ruining your menstrual cycle. Good thing is that the problem can be diagnosed through a blood test and treatment administered. That’s why it’s important to see a doctor if your periods have suddenly become irregular.

3. Polycystic ovarian syndrome

We already told you what polycystic ovarian syndrome is and how it affects fertility in women. It leads to hormonal imbalance and one of its main symptoms is irregular bleeding. It is possible, therefore, that you got your normal period as should be, then later bled as a result of the Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

4. Fibroids

Fibroids are quite common among women in their reproductive years. And although the tumors are benign, they can cause bleeding especially if they are touched during sex. If you have been having two periods in one month, you may want to consider having an ultrasound just to rule out the possibility of uterine fibroids.

5. Endometriosis

This painful condition also leads to irregular bleeding. And sometimes the bleeding is so much such that it seems like menstrual periods.

6. One time thing

It probably isn’t something you should worry about. It’s possible to have two periods in a month one in a while even when everything is okay. But if the pattern has been consistent, you need to see a doctor to ensure that all is well.
