- Maya Hawke joined the cast of Stranger Things in season three.
- Her character, Robin, worked with Steve in the mall, and she also helped thwart the Mind Flayer.
- On Instagram, Maya's parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, congratulated her on the role.
Maya Hawke's Robin was introduced in the most recent season of Stranger Things , and her character was an absolute delight from the beginning. From asking Steve why he was friends with so many kids to that entire Back to the Future discussion, Robin's dry sense of humor and instant bond with the rest of the group was a highlight of the season.
And as it turns out, we're not the only ones who think that Hawke is amazing-Hawke's dad just happens to be none other than Ethan Hawke himself. He posted a video of Maya in character on Instagram, and his caption was as legendary as his acting roles:

I know many missed out on numerous high school productions-heck I even missed a few and Im her father. Some of you may know her music, some may not. But Ladies & Gentleman, get to know MAYA HAWKE. And as for Maya's mom, Uma Thurman? She also posted a photo of her daughter online, this time showcasing her lounging in a pool after what we expect was a very grueling press tour.
