There's never a day of rest for Dr. Pimple Popper at least not on Instagram. In Dr. Sandra Lee's (the real name of TLC's resident dermatologist) latest video, she's tasked with popping an overgrown cyst on the back of a patient's ear. While the dermatologist typically uses an extraction tool to pop these smaller growths, this one is just too big.
Dr. Lee explains to the patient that the cyst was likely smallerknown as a milia that grew and developed into the large size viewers can see in the video. While she would typically use an extraction tool to press into the skin and remove the cysts' contents, it's just too big for her to do so anymore.
Instead, Dr. Lee make an incision over the bump and begins to squeeze the sour cream-like insides from the cyst. They begin thickly oozing out as she pops, and once done, Dr. Lee frees the cyst's sac from the ear and snips it out with a pair of scissors to ensure it doesn't return.
