Dr. Pimple Popper just welcomed the weekend in a particularly gut-churning way: with an inflamed cyst.
Yep, you heard that right. In her newest Instagram video shared Friday, dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD kicked off the start of the weekend with a particularly gnarly bump.
"Do your #happydance, its #friday," Dr. Pimple Popper wrote to caption the video, adding, "And weve got an INFLAMED CYST AND A SUTURE LESSON on the #youtube channel!"
As the video opens, Dr. Pimple Popper trades her metal tools for her OG ones (her hands, duh) and gets into prime squeezing position so that her fingers are on either side of the incision. The derm starts to push against her patient's back, alternating between putting pressure on one side of the cyst, then the other, and so forth.

With every press, another chunk of creamy gunk spews up and out from the incision, building to create a mountain of pus.
After a quick clean up sesh where Dr. Pimple Popper's right-hand woman, Kristy, wipes away the mess, the derm comes back for round two-this time, with a syringe.
TBH, the cyst looks particularly painful (Dr. Pimple Popper did refer to it as "inflamed," after all), and apparently, the situation calls for more numbing. That's when Dr. Pimple Popper repeatedly pokes her poor patient with the syringe full of fluid, going as far as to put the needle inside the opening (!!) and inject the liquid directly into the cyst. (Cringe!)
After what feels like an eternity, the derm finally calls it quits with the injections (praise emoji) and calls on Kristy to take over for her for a minute with alternating squeezes to push out all the gunk left inside.
The gunk just keeps coming until Dr. Pimple Popper returns to the scene to pick up the hefty chunk of goo (it kind of looks like a cheese curd), and hands it to Kristy. "Take that. This is for you," she says.
The YouTube video cuts out after that, but, as you can imagine, Dr. Pimple Popper goes ahead and stitches the patient up to send her on her way in the YouTube video (and apparently gives a suture lesson while doing so-as one does). So I guess this video is not only satisfying, but educational too!
