Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian revealed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians that preliminary tests indicated that she might have lupus or rheumatoid arthritis . Now, she just shared that shes on medication.

Kim made the announcement on TODAY on Tuesday, after saying that she figured out what was going on after seeing her doctor again. I did find out, were gonna talk about it next Sunday, she said. I was able to find an amazing doctor, Dr. Wallace, and we figured out what the problem is.

During Sundays episode of KUWTK, Kim shared that shed been feeling sick recently. Ive been feeling so tired, so nauseous and my hands are really getting swollen, she said. I feel like I literally am falling apart. My hands are numb.

I feel this in my bones. Its starting to really worry me. I really have to look into this, she continued. Kim eventually saw her doctor, who ran some blood work and found that that her antibodies are positive for rheumatoid arthritis, a chronic inflammatory disorder that affects joints, including those in the hands and feet, and lupus, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissues and organs.

I unfortunately had to be put on medication to stop the symptoms, I tried everything natural for the longest time and we chose the best route for me so luckily right now everything is under control, Kim said on TODAY.

Its really hard to know whether Kim actually has lupus or rheumatoid arthritis (or something completely different) based on the fact that shes on medication. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), both lupus and rheumatoid arthritis can be treated with medications to try to help manage symptoms.

Its also totally possible that Kim doesnt have either of these conditions, since your body can make antibodies for both conditions when you have certain infections, Dr. Lynn Ludmer, MD, medical director of The Department of Rheumatology at Baltimores Mercy Medical Center, previously told WomensHealthMag.com .

So...until next Sunday... .
