As Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor wraps up , it's almost time to start preparing for the next season of The Bachelorette , which means it's almost time for producers to reveal the next leading lady of the long-running franchise. (FYI: It's happening Monday on Good Morning America!) However, one insider fan claiming to have ~the tea~ recently posted in a Facebook group that the next Bachelorette is...drumroll please...Clare Crawley. (For the record, Reality Steve, known for his Bachelor universe spoilers , hasn't heard anything about it.)

"CLARE CRAWLEY IS OFFICIALLY GOING TO BE THE BACHELORETTE!" the Facebook post said. "They're going to surprise her with the news on Ellen show next week and they start filming in 2 weeks."

Considering Good Morning America (which is owned by ABC, a.k.a. the same company that owns all the Bachelor franchises) has officially said the Bachelorette announcement will happen during its Monday show, at least half of this "spoiler" has already been disproven.

Okay, so... who is Clare Crawley?

Clare Crawley is a 38-year-old hairstylist from Sacramento, California. Though you might not remember her name, she's no stranger to the Bachelor franchise, having appeared on Juan Pablo's season of The Bachelor, the inaugural season of Bachelor in Paradise , and Bachelor Winter Games, where she ended up in a love triangle with Benoit Beausjour-Savard from The Bachelorette Canada and Christian Rauch from The Bachelorette Germany.

Is she a random choice for the next Bachelorette? Yes. Really random? No.

She's the quintessential California girl.

She loves yoga, the outdoors, and her dogs, according to her Instagram. Clare's also basically a walking ad for the Golden Stateshe goes on lots of hikes and makes a mean granola bowl.

What is Clare Crawley's relationship history?

Unlike the aspiring Instagram influencers on Pilot Pete's season, it seems like Clare is looking for a real relationship after coming on different Bachelor shows multiple times hoping to find true love. She was previously engaged to Benoit Beausjour-Savard, but they broke up about a month after Bachelor Winter Games.

Heres my opinion on Clare IF she does end up being the Bachelorette. Yes, its random. And yes, shes not on anyones radar really. But 1) that gives them major shock value 2) gives them some1 older and 3) it kinda puts her as a combination of being the female Arie & Nick RealitySteve (@RealitySteve)

Arie came out of nowhere. He hadnt even been on Bachelor programming for 5 years. Its only been 2 for Clare since Winter Games. And Clare has had chances, just like Nick did multiple times, that for whatever reason didnt work. Would it still surprise me? Absolutely. RealitySteve (@RealitySteve)

He's also said that only one of the contestants he's heard about so far is in his thirties (as in, just turned 30) and the rest are in their twenties. That may mean the producers haven't exactly been searching out guys for a 38-year-old Bachelorette, or it could mean nothing.

For what its worth, I have 10 guys that Im pretty sure are cast to be on the Bachelorette, and only one of them is in their 30s - and he just turned 30 recently. Might mean something, might mean nothing. RealitySteve (@RealitySteve)
