Jenna Dewan is expecting her first child with boyfriend Steve Kazee, according to People . The couple have been dating since October 2018, after Jenna and ex-husband Channing Tatum divorced. Though the lovebirds kept their exact relationship status on the DL for a bit, Jenna publicly called Steve her "boyfriend" during an appearance on Ellen in April 2019.

Since then, Steve has been all over Jenna's Instagramon baecations, date nights, and even WWE wrestling matches. But, while he certainly seems like a primo Instagram BF, who is Steve Kazee, exactly? Here's everything you need to know about Jenna's boyfriend and future baby daddy:

Steve and Jenna are expecting their first child together.

We are beyond overjoyed and couldnt be happier to be expanding our family! the couple told People. Jenna, 38, already shares a daughter, Everly, with Channing. But for Steve, 43, this will be his first child.

He's a Tony award-winning actor.

In 2012, Steve won a Tony for Best Performance by a Leading Actor for Once, where he played an Irish guitarist who falls in love with a Czech piano player. He also won a Grammy for the soundtrack (nbd).

Like Jenna, performing runs in his blood. The actor also starred in shows like Spamalot and To Be or Not to Be. Plus, while in Chicago, he starred in Pretty Woman: The Musical as Edward Lewis.

Steve is from a small town in Kentucky.

He was born in Ashland, Kentucky to a welder and a health care aide. According to The New York Times, his mother died in his childhood trailer home from breast cancer shortly after Once transferred to Broadway.

Steve paid tribute to his mother during his Tony acceptance speech. My mother always told me before shows to stand up there and show 'em whose little boy you are, he said. And Im showing you today that I am the son of Kathy Withrow Kazee who lost the fight with cancer on Easter Sunday this year. And I miss you every day, and I feel you here with me today, and I love you all so much, and thank you for this award.

He fell in love with acting by accident.

"I grew up in a very small, rural country town, and we didn't really have 'the arts,'" Steve told Playbill . It wasn't until he went to college at Morehead State University that he first discovered his love of acting.

"I was in college, and I walked a girl that I was seeing at the time to an audition, and I got asked if I wanted to audition. It was for a musical. It was for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," he told the publication.

Steve went in and they asked him to sing something. His song selection? "Happy Birthday." Apparently, that was exactly what they were looking for because he ended up with a callback where he sang "Benjamin Calypso." Steve was then cast as one of the brothers in Joseph.

This isn't Steve's first time dating an actress.

The actor dated Smash star Megan Hilty for six years before meeting Jenna. According to The Times , their breakup occurred just weeks before his mother passed as Once was moving to Broadway. But Steve doesn't have any regrets about the relationship.

"The lessons Ive learned about my time with Megan, six wonderful years, will live with me forever, Kazee told Blouin Artinfo . I have zero angst or anxiety about her. Shes a warm, caring, immensely talented, lovely human being.

He brings Jenna a sense of peace.

Just a few months ago, Jenna took to Instagram to announce her relationship with the actor. She first posted a photo with a caption about finding peace in the midst of a chaotic and hectic life. And then followed that photo up with one her and Steve holding hands, captioning it, "Speaking of peace..."

Steve introduced Jenna to wrestling.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show in April with John Cena, Jenna gushed about her newfound love. "Steve, my boyfriend, is a huge wrestling fan, and he got me so into it," she said. "So into it that I watched WrestleMania by myself. Like, he wasnt even in town and I watched WrestleMania. Because I had to know if Becky Lynch was going to beat Ronda Rousey! I was by myself, I ordered itwhich, by the way, I didn't need to order it, but I ordered itand I was sitting there, texting, like, 'Did you know what's happening?'"

The two have been to several live matches as well. Jenna posted a photo from her first match a few months ago, captioning it: "This. Was. Fun. Thank you @wwe for my first Raw."

They were at a wrestling match just hours before their pregnancy announcement.

According to US Weekly , Jenna posted an excited video on her Instagram story while driving Steve to the match. We are coming to Monday Night Raw, she said. Baby, are you excited?

Yeah, Im excited, the Tony winner replied. Im always excited. We came all the way to San Franciscowell, for a couple of things, but mostly for Monday Night Raw and Tuesday Night Smackdown.
