Six people have been confirmed dead in a grisly Narok-Mai Mahiu road accident.

Some of the passengers are said to have been school children.

The accident at Duka Moja area involved a matatu belonging to Transline Classic company and a lorry.

According to police said a 14-seater matatu rammed into a lorry that was carrying fish.

The matatu was headed to Nairobi from Kisii before it rammed into the trailer in a head-on collision.
