Police release photos of notorious Nairobi city gang in laptop theft syndicate, recover stolen laptops

Police have arrested 4 suspects believed to be behind the recent surge in crime that has seen several people lose laptops and other valuables during meetings in Nairobi.

The four identified as Mr Isaiah Aluodo Belek, Mr Amisi Erick Joseph, Mr George Mwangi Maina and Mr Kimani Njagi Kariuki were busted with 15 stolen laptops and will be charged with theft and handling stolen property.

The gang of smartly dressed young men sneak into meetings in Nairobi and make away with any laptop or valuable left unattended to.

A screen grab of a cctv footage released by the DCI shows ne of the suspects emerging from a building with a laptop bag containing what is believed to be stolen property.

Police have appealed to members of the public who may have lost laptops and valuables during meetings to contact the DCI.
