Armed gangsters terrorise mourners at Matiba funeral

Robbers attack event attended by President Uhuru

Police in Murang’a are investigating an incident in which armed gangsters robbed a couple that had attended the funeral service of Kenneth Matiba at General Ihura Stadium.

The highly guarded event went on well but at 4.30pm when the guests were leaving, one couple was held at gun point and shortly after robbed of their vehicle.

The victims’ shouts for help did not help the situation as the armed gangsters sped off.

A witness stated that the gangsters were very swift and took advantage of the huge number of people who were present at Matiba’s funeral service.
