Self-declared National Resistence Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has made it clear that even though he was deported, turning back is not an option.
Through a video message on Saturday, the vocal lawyer who was deported to Canada under controversial circumstances urged his comrades in a special message.
Below is the video as shared by Twitter, courtesy of Ike Kenneth.
He urged those supporting NRM not to lose faith in the fight, maintaining that they must win.
“Viva! Continue the struggle against despots, against the illegitimate usurpers of power.
We must win, there is no going back. Surrender is not an option”
Alluding to the quest for electoral justice and reforms, the self-declared general disclosed that there is no reverse gear.
Police seized Miguna Miguna over his alleged role in the ‘swearing in’ of opposition Chief Raila Odinga and defied court orders to release him.
The lawyer was deported to Canada in unclear circumstances with the government agencies alleging that he is not a Kenyan citizen.
