ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has announced his move after his NASA co-principals Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka both got continental jobs.

Through his secretary-general Barrack Muluka, Mudavadi stated that he is not interested in such appointments, rather, his focus is on 2022.

Muluka explained that his party leader would much rather build his profile, alleging that Kalonzo's appointment had reduced his chances of joining the 2022 race.

Moreover, Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and former Senator Johnstone Muthama reported that Kalonzo had dropped his bid for the presidency.
