Migori Governor Okoth Obado will spend another night in remand prison despite being granted bail on Wednesday morning.

Obado was released on a Sh5 million cash bail or two sureties of Sh5 million each.

However, when his legal team presented his surety team deposited the surety documents with the High Court registrar, there was an unexplained hitch.

Unfortunately, it was already past office working hours with his legal team instructed to come with the proper documents on Thursday morning.
