We're living in an age where payment can be received digitally and in an instant. Many apps, such as PayPal , allow for quick and painless money transfers.

PayPal invoicing in particular is a valuable tool for professionals and companies. It allows freelancers to request monthly payments from their clients, for example.

The best part about PayPal invoicing is that the templates can be customized, so that you can add promotional discounts, product descriptions, and even your company logo. Here's how.

5. You'll be brought to a page where you can write in all the information that you want on your invoice. On this page, you can:

  • Enter the name of the person(s) you are seeking payment from (e.g., their email address or name).
  • Set the frequency of when the invoice maker should be sent (e.g. one time, weekly, monthly).
  • Add your logo.
  • Add a description of the sale, and terms and conditions (if applicable).
  • Enter the amount of money owed, as well as the type of currency you're seeking.

6. Review all the information you've filled out and make sure it's all correct.

7. Once everything looks good on your end, click "Send" at the bottom of the page.

The "Send" button gives you the option to send your invoice via PayPal or by yourself. In the latter case, PayPal will generate a link you can send to anyone through email or other chat services. The link will lead directly to your invoice.
