Uhuru Kenyatta has been declared the President elect by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati.
According to the provisional results, Kenyatta garnered 8,203,990 votes against NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga's 6,762,224 votes.
The President elect is currently at the KICC where he was received by his deputy William Ruto after snubbing a meeting at Bomas.
The chairman said that the process was credible and fair, sentiments shared by international observers including John Kerry.
