Because it saw giants like Biko Zulu get toppled by protégé Magunga Williams (www.magunga.com) for the coveted category of Kenyan Blog of the Year.

Niaje.com which was not active for a large part of 2016 made a grand comeback with a win of Best Entertainment Blog while Mummy Tales bagged the award for the best Women and Girls Empowerment Blog.
