J Blessing confirms breakup with Chantelle and speaks on new relationship
The video director had a 5-year relationship with Tokelezea singer Chantelle.

The video director is known to be fiercely private and even gets a bit aggressive when journalists ask about his private life but he was in rare form when speaking to his fans.
In a Q&A session with fans on Instagram, J Blessing confirmed his separation from Chantelle and disclosed that he has moved on to a new relationship.

Sections of the media have reported that his new love is singer Avril and even has his child, news that both of them have passionately denied.
Though J has been tight-lipped about the end of his union with Chantelle, the gorgeous actress confirmed last year that their relationship was over.
She also disclosed that they had been on-and-off for years before they finally ended their relationship. They were also ill-matched from the very start and both their families were for their break up.
“J Blessing would be in and out of the country like every time because of studies and work and that means for the most time, our relationship was a like a long-distance relationship. At the same time, we had differences and we would be on-and-off. The truth is that from the start, we never really jelled together as we are two different people who were trying to hold on hoping that at some point this would work…This is something both our families do know as we had discussions over the issue and they even advised that we can let each be if we felt uncomfortable being together. His father is a pastor and he would always advise us from a sober Biblical view. Both sides were for us breaking up,” She confessed to Pulse Magazine.
Despite their break up, Chantelle maintained that she wishes her ex all the best in life as he is a good person. “J Blessing is a good person and he is someone I loved. I want him to be happy and get someone who makes him happy,” Chantelle told the magazine.
