He works in one of the world's most prestigious institutions, The World Bank.
This is because “she had never seen a ‘Man of the Cloth’ (Akorino) outside Kenya; let alone, at the World Bank.” And she was impressed by how far he had come up the ladder to work in one of the world’s most prestigious institutions.
We did a little digging and the man has a very impressive profile and this is what we came up with.
Wachira handles operations, analytic and advisory work in the roles he has been assigned to in the global institution.
He started his work at World Bank as a Young Professional before he moved on to his role as a public sector specialist in the Governance Global Practice sector which he has been working on since September 2013.
He is also a part-time lecturer having taught public policy in the Political Science department at Southern Methodist University (SMU); in addition he served as a teaching fellow in University of North Texas and as an assistant professor of History and Economics at Wiley College.
His education credentials are also very impressive as he holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a master’s degree in History from Tarleton State University and a PhD in Public Administration and Management (Public Finance and Public Management from the University of North Texas.)
His CV is pretty impressive but so is his dressing. He likes to look suave in perfectly-tailored suits and stylish shoes that compliment his outfits, what's more, he is gifted in the looks department too.
Check out a few photos of him:
