A widow got a reprieve after her husband of 42 years was found to have left her nothing in his will.
Ms Joan Thompson, 79, had lived in Pembrokeshire, Wales with her husband Wynford Hodge for 42 years before his death last year.
He was worth Sh202 million but opted to leave his wife and children nothing, instead leaving the bulk of his wealth to "tenants who were kind to him in his final days".
The New York Post says that he did not want wife Joan or her four children to inherit any of his fortune. He dubbed his wife “financially comfortable” despite her having a modest Sh350, 000 in the bank.
Ms Thompson had been forced to live in a nursing home.

However, salvation was at hand as a judge ruled that she should receive a Sh32 million cottage from her husband's estate.
The judge ruled that the deceased had failed to match up to his responsibilities to his lifetime partner.
In addition, Ms Thompson will receive Sh27 million cash to pay for renovating the cottage and for financial support.
Her husband, who was suffering from prostate cancer, made ten wills before his death and had assured his wife that she and the kids would be well taken care of.
But he ended up leaving the money to tenants until the judge's ruling that has given Ms Thompson a new lease in life.
