He threatened to kill his mother if she disclosed the incident

Beating

The accused pleaded with the court to be taken to hospital, accusing police officers who arrested him of beating him up according to a report by the Nation.

It was reported that the victim’s family suspected all was not well with the woman on July 31 while at a family gathering in a Thika hotel when they noticed she had difficulty walking.

Family members then pressed her to explain what had befallen her.

STD

“We then took her to Thika Level Five Hospital where we confirmed that she had been raped and sodomised and she had a discharge, an indication that she had been infected with a sexually transmitted disease,” a family member who sought anonymity said.

The woman revealed to her other children that her son had ordered her to burn the mattress and blanket after the act, adding it was not the first time he had assaulted her.
