Influencer Awards Meet the Jury

Roy Karuhize, a creative veteran with over two decades in the entertainment industry, was the founding Production Manager and Creative Director at Radio Africa Group (KISS and Classic) before leading creative strategy at WPP’s ScanGroup for over 100 global and local brands. Now a Director at TrueTribe Content Marketing Agency and WowTribe Creator Management Agency, he is shaping Africa’s most disruptive creator brands and driving the continent’s content marketing evolution. With a track record of global marketing awards, Roy is passionate about co-creating with emerging talent to position African influencers and creators as global leaders in brand edutainment and the creative economy.

The jury comprises of the brightest minds from across the globe who have a wealth of experience in the digital/media/partnership landscape. They will be responsible for screening the submitted nominations and selecting the Top 10 nominees per category. The Jury process will be transparent and fair and each nomination will be scored based on our criteria

Njeri is a strategic and results-driven commercial leader with over 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, media strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Proven expertise in driving revenue growth, developing impactful advertising campaigns, and leading high-performance teams across top media houses in Kenya. Skilled in public relations, business development, digital marketing, and brand activations. Member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK).

A true digital alchemist with a touch of the left-brained, Loreh Marvin brings a decade of experience to the world of influencer marketing. He is an expert in crafting powerful communication strategies that transform brand narratives and propel creators forward. Passionate about the creator economy, Loreh thrives on building connections that are both impactful and authentic. A three-time jury member for the Pulse Influencer Awards, he is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the innovative talents who are shaping the digital landscape across Africa.

Linda Okero is a communications and influencer marketing expert with over a decade of experience driving socio-economic transformation across microfinance, government, business acceleration, advocacy, and influencer marketing. Skilled in brand building, strategic communication, and premium event management, she has shaped the personal brands of top influencers, helping them secure partnerships and thrive in the digital space. A former Coordinator of the UNCTAD Youth Action Hub–Kenya, YALI alumna, and Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, Linda is passionate about youth empowerment and civic engagement. She has served as a Pulse Influencer Awards jury member for three years and is recognized as one of the industry’s rising women leaders. She holds a BA in Mass Communication (cum laude) from Daystar University.

Felistus Gathii Mwangi is a leading voice in digital content and creator strategy across Africa. With over a decade of experience spanning media, tech, and influencer marketing, she’s built creator ecosystems, led high-impact campaigns, and transformed how audiences engage with content. Felistus blends sharp editorial instincts with a deep understanding of digital culture. As a three-time jury member at the Pulse Influencer Awards, she brings clarity, credibility, and a fierce commitment to spotlighting authentic digital voices.

With 14 years of experience in driving ROI through innovative digital strategies, Dan is an award-winning advertising professional who has led campaigns for top agencies, including Redhouse Group, Ogilvy Africa, Brainwave Kenya, Dentsu Kenya, and now DigiTribe–EABL. His work, recognized by honors such as the Ogilvy Pipe Award (2019), Top 25 Men in Digital (2020), and DIAGEO Africa Pride Award (2023), spans sectors from FMCGs and beverages to NGOs, the UN, and government. Beyond work, he's a dog lover with an infectious laugh and a passion for culinary arts.

With over 15 years of experience scaling digital businesses, Cedric has co-founded Verge, a leading digital marketing agency, and Zaumu, Africa’s innovative creator marketplace. His training equips creators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders with practical insights into storytelling, growth strategies, and monetizing digital influence. Known for actionable, result-driven frameworks, Cedric’s sessions deliver clarity, empowering participants to transform their digital presence and achieve measurable growth.

Agnes Opondo is a seasoned music executive and entertainment writer, currently leading artist and label partnerships for Spotify in the region. With a rich background spanning music licensing, collective rights management, and music marketing, she has played a key role in shaping strategies that elevate East African talent on global platforms. Beyond her work in the music business, Agnes is also an entertainment writer, having authored over 500 articles that spotlight the region’s creative voices. As a returning Pulse Influencer Awards jury member, Agnes brings a wealth of experience, cultural insight, and a commitment to uplifting Africa’s creative community.
