Eddy Kenzo scoops yet another major international award

From the streets to making it big

In 2015, the 'Sitya Loss' hit maker scooped a BET Award for the International Viewers Award. Other awards under his belt include AFRIMA Awards, Nigeria Entertainment Awards and the recent International Reggae and World Music Awards where he was named ‘Best African Entertainer’ among others.

And now, he has added another award to his profile after bagging the Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards 2018. Kenzo won the ‘Favourite African Star’ category beating rapper Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), athlete Caster Semenya (South Africa), singer Davido (Nigeria), comedian Emmanuella (Nigeria), and singer Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania).

The event took place in California on Saturday, 24th March and was hosted by John Cena. Some of the big names that won were Demi Lovato, who bagged the Best Female Artiste and Shawn Mendes for the Best Male Artiste.
