Mediheal owner and director, Kesses MP Mishra Swarup, moved to court accusing the blogger of constantly publishing defamatory statement against the institution.
According to the petitioner, Mr Alai has allegedly used the defamatory statements against Mediheal to gain more followers online.
MP Mishra further sought to have the blogger gagged due to his vat followership on the Twitter and facebook platforms.
"The statements are false, malicious, negligent, and reckless and have subjected the Hospital to unprecedented and extremely numerous calls and concerns regarding the accusations.
"The defendant published the said defamatory posts in a sensational manner so as to garner more followers on his social media sites and thus profit economically from the Plaintiff’s public embarrassment and scandal," the MP stated in court papers.
Justice Msagha Mbogholi certified the suit as urgent directing that it should be heard again on April 22, 2021.
