Speaking during the Kibra rally on Tuesday, Odinga alleged that Matiang’i has been secretly meeting IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati on how the plan will be executed.

“This election will be a peaceful revolution. We want to warn Matiang’i. He is a player in the Jubilee team and cannot purport to be a neutral arbiter.

"Matiang‘i is trying to rig this election in the guise of acting on behalf of the state. We will not allow that to happen,” the former Prime minister stated.

The Opposition leader urged his supporters to turn out in large numbers and vote overwhelmingly for NASA to kick out the Jubilee administration.

Mating’I was recently appointed the acting Interior Cabinet secretary after the demise of Joseph Nkaissery.

The Opposition has been speculating that their plans to rig the upcoming polls with Odinga claiming he won't accept results of rigged elections.
