NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has now said that he will not jail President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto if he emerges victorious during the August 8 Election.

Speaking in Kibera on Thursday, Odinga said that he would reward the two Jubilee leaders with jobs and teach them how to run a government.

“We do not have a problem with President Uhuru and his deputy Ruto. After we remove them from office, we will give them work to do and we will not jail them but show them how a government is run because it seems they are overwhelmed,” Raila sated.

The former Prime Minister accused Jubilee leaders of inflating the cost of living and pretending to offer solutions.

Rachel Ruto is no stranger to making bold yet elegant fashion statements, but during the state visit of the Dutch royals on March 18, 2025, it wasn’t just her outfit that stood out—it was her shoes. The Kenyan First Lady stepped out in a pair of brown suede block heels adorned with a gold emblem.

Odinga also hit out at Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery over claims that tey were inciting the public by stating that NASA would garner over 10 Million votes.

"We have no apology to make to anyone. NCIC is a tool of Jubilee. We have not broken any law by saying we have more than 10 million votes," said Raila.

On Wednesday, Nkaissery had warned NASA to stop making such utterances on grounds that they were inciting members of the public.

“Those claiming they have 10m votes, how did they establish that as a fact? These are falsities meant to incite Kenyans,” the CS stated.
