Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Mike Sonko is now seeking the intervention of his 1,123,005 Facebook followers on choosing his deputy.
From a list of nine short listed candidates, Mike Sonko is seeking only one person to deputise him.
Sonko won the Jubilee ticket, flooring his party counterpart Peter Kenneth in the recently concluded Jubilee primaries, and so far he has been holding high profile discussions to identify a suitable deputy.

Earlier, there were claims that already Sonko and his close ally Bishop Margaret Wanjiru struck a deal that whoever will win will be backed by the loser, between the two.
“Great people of Nairobi, some say politics is about numbers. This FB page of mine has over 1,123,000 fans out of which 825,892 are Nairobians. Hebu munisaidie hapa whom do you think desrves to be my Deputy Governor?” Sonko asked in a Facebook post ion Monday.
The turn of events, however, seem to take a toll on Mrs Wanjiru, who lost in the primaries, as Sonko has once openly said on a live TV that it is the people of Nairobi to decide.
He is not betting on his one million voters, with over 800,000 Nairobi followers to pick a deputy for him.
