In a press release by State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu on Monday morning, Esipisu stated that the tour was cancelled due to “unavoidable circumstances.”

Meanwhile, President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have been touring different parts of the country launching different projects as well as campaigning for Jubilee.

Last week, the President and his deputy toured Kisii and Nyamira where they urged the Abagusii people to vote for Jubilee in the upcoming polls.

“Last time, you looked at the other side and you saw a prime minister and a vice-president. On our side, you saw two young men headed to a white man’s court and you went with the old men.

“If we defeated them then when we were in the wilderness, do you think they can pose any challenge to us today with the unparalleled development record as a government?” Kenyatta said during his visit.

Kenyatta launched a scathing attack on the Opposition leaders saying that they had nothing new to offer having been in the government previously.  The president launched different construction of different road projects in the area.
