Shebesh's husband shot twice

The shooting happened at Shebesh's home in Nairobi's Kilimani area.

Frank Ambundo Shebesh, who is also a businessman, was rushed to hospital on Tuesday night with two gunshot wounds on his leg.

He told police that he had shot himself at his house, using his licensed gun.

However, Capital FM quoted a detective in the Police service aware of the matter who confirmed that the shooting was being investigated further.

“We want to establish whether it is possible for one to shoot himself twice, at what angle among other possibilities,” the officer revealed.

The home of the Shebesh’s was dusted for evidence and ballistic experts sent to analyse Frank’s pistol. The gun was a Glock pistol with 12 bullets as at the time of the incident.

Rachael, who played a prominent role in President Kenyatta's re-election, could not be reached for comment.
