Uhuru’s new communication team unveiled

The team will work alongside various teams in the ministries.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has unveiled the recently recruited statehouse’ 45-member communication team, Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU) and are set to begin their official duties.

Nzioka Waita, the Chief of Staff in the Office of the President, said they will work alongside various team in the ministries.

“It’s a delivery team whose main purpose is to track and report on progress of the Administration’s key projects and programs as well as coordinate dissemination of public information on the status of those key projects,” said Waita.

PDU team members

Among those who form the PDU include; Anne Mumbi Warui former Citizen TV Business reporter, Laban Onserio former NTV business reporter and Nixon Ng’ang’a former Royal Media Services Managing Editor.

Others are;

Patrick Ngatia, former NEMA Board member.

Silvanus Onyango, former Kasipul Kapondo MP.

Michael Rotich, former Bomet aspirant.

Boniface Kinoti, former Buuri MP among others.

The team held an induction session at the Kenya School of Government in Embu on Wednesday and are expected to work with county commissioners, to closely track National Government Programs at the county level.
