Uhuru's cousin reveals the only worry his family has with Raila deal
Mugo, who is also a Jubilee nominated senator noted that she and other members of the Kenyatta family were in full support of the Kenyatta-Odinga deal, noting that it would enhance national unity.
The nominated Senator urged Odinga's colleagues in NASA to accept the peace deal and avoid peddling lies to the extent that ODM had merged with Jubilee.
However, she urged the President to be careful in his dealings with Odinga, expressing concern that Kenyatta could be dragged into idol worship through some of the slogans used by NASA.
"Let say one thing, This tibim and tialala, we are yet to be told the meaning of these things. They should not drag Uhuru into this."
"We know Uhuru prays God and he always says God first. There is already a song linking Uhuru to tibim and tialala but we are saying we are Christians we should not be made to worship other idols," Mugo stated.
Tibim and tialala were the main campaign slogans used in the NASA campaigns while Jubilee used "tano tena" and "Tuko pamoja" as their catchwords.
During the divisive 2017 election, some of the Jubilee politicians took advantage of the gap in knowledge on the origin of the terms tibim and tialala to propagate negative propaganda against NASA.
For instance, Jubilee nominated MP David Ole Sankok claimed that Tibim is a goddess God of War from the Greek mythology.
