DP Ruto's advice to Kalonzo after Uhuru-Raila deal 

Kalonzo has disclosed that he was not aware of Kenyatta and Odinga meeting.

Speaking at Njoro African Inland Church (AIC) in Nakuru County, Ruto stated that the deal was good for the country and urged Kalonzo together with other co-principals to join the Government and work together.

"I want to tell those who are yet to join us to come so we can take this country forward," the DP stated.Ruto insisted that the journey to united Kenyans began way back in 2013.

Jitters in NASA because of the Uhuru-Raila pactCracks have emerged in NASA with Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula disclosing that they were kept in the dark when the Friday deal was announced.The three co-principals have demanded an explanation from Odinga and are set to meet today to discuss the turn of events.

"Raila did not just leave us out. He never discussed his intended move with any of us,” Mudavadi said in a statement. Speculations are rife that the co-principals might decide to go it alone after accusing the former premier of betrayal.

It's also not clear whether the ODM party leader will attend the Monday meeting scheduled by his co-principals.

Uhuru and Raila's dealThe Head of State and the Opposition announced on Friday that they would work together for the sake of uniting the country."Deterioration of relationships between ethnic communities and political formations. These relationships are too often characterised by aggressive antagonism and competition. A strong nation cannot develop in this way," part of the joint statement by the two leaders read.Meanwhile, leaders from both Jubilee and ODM have backed the deal.
