With Kenyans taking to their social media accounts to share their grievances concerning the current political affairs in the country, many were irked by his statement during the briefing where he congratulated the police for a job well done in containing the clashes that were flamed by the election results. He said, “We applaud police officers for the good work that they have done but urge them to restrain form use of force.”
Dissatisfied by this particular quote as shared by NTV on their Twitter handle, KOT took it upon themselves to air out their frustrations with many pin pointing the glaring matters such as the death toll in Kisumu, others calling his statement reckless while the rest requested to be unregistered from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) polls as they continue to go up.
